Notes about him (from Áine's POV):
- Cedric is Áine's husband through an arranged marriage. During their courtship, there were mutual feelings between the two that were on the verge of becoming something more.
- The war ruined their wedding and served to smother Áine's blossoming feelings for him. His Mainlander nationality is a great source of discord for her.
- His political allegiance is not geared towards the Jacobites, but he is not strictly apart of any other political party — you can have a bit of flexibility here :)
- There is a great possibility for the topic of divorce. Although unspoken for now, Áine may seek to have one under Highlander customs, despite the illegality of it.
- It is unclear what his feelings towards his wife are at the moment, but they are overall positive.
- Áine does not hate her husband nor does she treat him differently despite her bias against Mainlanders— he is perhaps the only exception.
