A bright blue jay arrives at the Arboretum's roost, hoarsely squawking the young wolf's name. In its talons is a sprig of chamomile - battered, but recognizable.

Miss Snow,

I have traveled to win a bloom from the King's Garden, by the Fae's favor. Will you come?

P.S. I am an acolyte at Edinburgh's roost now!

Ara was shocked to hear that a bird had come for her, one from the roostery in Ayr. She arrived at the college roost, eyes wide and full of intrigue. Once she was alone in a room with the blue jay, it dropped a battered chamomile and nudged it toward her. As the blue jay caw-caw'd its message, she couldn't help but giggle...

Branwen Whelan,

The chamomile is an expression of new friendship, is it not? I accept! It sounds lovely.
Tell me about your promotion when you visit!

Your new friend, Miss Snow
