Maeve had woken up that morning before the sun was able to rise over the mountains. In the time of darkness, he had started working in her garden, grabbing the buckets of water she would use to make sure her flowers would continue to thrive and bloom. Some of them had not yet bloomed, due to the weather being unsavory. Others would wait until other flowers bloomed, as if they needed the gentle coaxing to show off their beauty. Whatever it was, Maeve was patient and kind, knowing that they would do what they needed with her tender love and care. Gently she sprinkled the base of their stems, soaking the earth and soil in the refreshing water from the lake. It was not an easy task, but it was one she loved to do. She sang to herself as she got to work. Over the years she had learned what over watering and under watering looked like.

<h>"Perfect!"</h> she said to herself. Soon the sun was peeking over the tops of the mountains and trees. She had decided to wander close to the lake and wash her paws. After she had done that, she decided it might be time to clean all of her coat. When was the last time she had done it? Months at least. In the frigid temperatures, one would not dare to enter the water with their whole body. Maeve breached the surface with her frame, walking further and further away from shore. Luckily, she still had a large amount of her winter coat. So while she could feel the chill of the water, she also knew she would not be harmed by it.
