"evening star"

Kissed by the heavens themselves, she is a living oracle. Her fur is a deep smokey hue, with a dusting of silver masking her face and back. On her left side, there is a streak of golden fur, a mark of the comets that raced across the darkness on the night of her birth. Her eyes do not match - one is the same pale azure hue as a cloudless sky, the other is a brilliant gold.

She is also fuzzy. Very fuzzy.

A child of the Hinterlands. Fortune teller, seer, interpreter of dreams and the stars.

Signs are all around, if one knows what to look for and can understand what it means. Vesper was born with an innate ability to interpret stars, dreams, and signs from the universe. She arrived to a traveling troupe of Roma, to a mother called Moon and an unknown father. Vesper was a blessing bestowed during a meteor shower, the only survivor of a pair of pups born. She was robust and healthy, but her doomed litter mate was withered and deformed and destined to die.

Vesper has been taught from infancy to interpret the heavens, charms and chants, and to decipher one’s destiny. She carries a set of runes she crafted with her own paws. Sometimes, it may seem as if she is existing in another time and place. She is often found speaking to Abraxas, an unseen companion and presumed invisible friend, but perhaps he is more than the product of a childish imagination at play.
