Profile of Elody

Once a beauty in her heyday, age has started to consume her form rapidly. Soaked in dark ocean blues and deep russets, white has started to spread over her countenance and chase away her brilliance. Arthritis has creeped its way into most of her joints, making her movements stiff and tender but it doesn't prevent her from prancing around with a pep in her step and her head held as high as she can muster, which is usually level with her shoulders. It's not abnormal to see her with some kind of debris in her fur, not much for keeping a tidy appearance unless asked of her.

Right eye is entirely clouded over, making her often have to cant her head to her good side so she can see you.

A golden girl or a rose with all its thorns, both could be said about this elder that hasn't given up her youth and continues to excel in keeping up with the youngins. Far be it for her to let you think she has worn down. With a go getter attitude and a pace all her own, she is a force to be reckoned with when she sets her mind to something. One might not think her capable at first glance, often assuming her fragile bones and kind disposition to make her an easy target, but the moment you think that, is the moment she will have you on your back or she'll be running around you in circles till you grow dizzy by her mounds of energy.

She gives the vibes of the loving grandma that will bake you dozens of cookies and wait on you hand and foot, wanting to hear all your stories as if she doesn't have any of her own. It's hard to make this woman lose her temper but when it is cracked, run. She will rear hell and bring her sons out of the shadows to send you to an early grave if she doesn't feel like doing it herself.

Timeline 1702- Zavala Omertà was born alongside a smaller brother, Silas, in a land far from Rionnach.

1704- Family moves to Sussex, Rionnach where she would swiftly get entangled with a bad crowd of the Drunken Seagull and catch the eye of Vanderfell O’Dahlia, a young Mafia boss with a chip on his shoulder.

1705- Love would blossom with Vander, their romance a whirlwind that would evolve into marriage in the Summer, becoming a queen to a man with many enemies and allies. She was often known as Mother by those that served her and her husband, though her hands were not nearly as dirty as his, she was no innocent woman. Her criminal record stacking though she would manage to evade any arrest warrant tossed at her. Would have an unfortunate miscarriage from all the stress.

1706- Gives birth to Lucifer and Andras, her two precious bundles that would make her realize her love for children and start a pull toward caring for orphans her life created. Most often raised to be fodder for the Mafia but were given loving childhoods at least.

1707- Vanderfell would perish from poisoning one late night, leaving Zavala a grieving widow. She would be left with a gift she had not been expecting, realizing a few weeks later she was pregnant once more with his baby. She would see this as a blessing, her husband being reincarnated as her future baby. Would fake her own death so her son Andras could take over the family business and so she could start anew.

1708- Gives birth to Fineas (born Fiona, named after her mother) and would start her quest of a new chapter in her life away from crime. Dropping her name Zavala O’Dahlia and becoming Elody Omertà, erasing herself from her past life. She would start working full time both as a mother and at a foster care, making caring for children her job.

1710- Takes up work as a housekeeper for Ruel when her arthritis starts making child watching a little too difficult. She doesn’t do it for the money, she just does it to stay busy but there has been a slow rise encouraging her to return to the family business as she notices it crumbling without Vander.
