She's been given every opportunity possible, all thanks to her father, any ounce of gratitude she holds in her heart is reserved strictly for him. The Verlice children need not explain their childhood to the world, as the world already knows. They grew up with the world at their finger tips, ready to bend and break it. While her brothers went into the army when they were of age, Ryker was given the choice to chose her own path, so long as it fit her father's image of her. She chose college, the system she studied in offering more.. interactive and immersive courses. She chose a more stable study, learning how to handle money and where to put it. And on the side, she was learning self defense and honing combat skills. After graduating, she combined all of that- and her connections to the wealthier families she grew up with. She opened her own business, being paid to teach self defense to the younger generations. This would all bring the Verlice woman full circle, into the Imperial Army of Rionnach.
