Blanketed in russet, Valoise has all of the plain virtue of his mother's cream pelt whilst stealing his father's rosy accents for himself. Only his chest and belly are slightly lighter, the accent drawing more attention to his deep, ocean-blue eyes. His expression is often a smirk and far more condescending than is warranted.

Personality
With a tongue that's quick as a whip and a wit that is equally biting, Valois lacks close bonds. While he would truly enjoy having close friends, he has a tendency to compete with everyone around him. This leads to unealthy, toxic relationships—and a healthy host of enemies. Even among his family, he is a black sheep without a soul to care for him. This has only led him to build up a fake self-esteem as a veneer to hide behind.

History
Valois was born to Ana and Lachlan and, at first, he had sought his father's approval avidly. His mother had seemed happy only when his father around, and so he had bitterly tried to keep Lachlan close to them. As he aged, however, he began to see the differences in Lachlan's treatment of him compared to his half siblings. Moreover, he started to witness Lachlan's tenderness to their mothers and not his own. When his mom's throat was irrepairably injured and she lost her voice, and later her life, Valois lost his last tether to this life. While he vaguely knows that he has a sister—a secret that was shared before his mother lost her voice completely—he feels unmoored. He left the tight clutches of the family to work at a local brothel.
