Profile of Summit

Summit does not resemble either of his parents very much, with ivory fur tinged with bands of reddish brown, like earthy clay kissed by flames. His eyes are unmatched in color: one is a pale, vibrant green, while the other is a coral hue. He is the mirrored image of his littermate, Journey, except that Summit is considerably larger than his sister. In size, he takes after his sire, and has grown to be tall, sturdy, and a formidable foe. But he is not a fighter, and his expression and stance are neither threatening nor dominating.

As a pup, Summit was sweet and cute as can be. The not-so-little boy was extra cuddly and affectionate, but with a tendency to wander off -- not because he was bad or trying to cause trouble, but because there is so much to see in the big wide world. He will be born to wanderers, and a wanderer he shall remain. He has always been enchanted by the new places he explores, and eager to see everything. He is usually warm toward strangers and friends alike.

Though he has grown, he retains a youthful playfulness. There is not a hint of hostility found within Summit, and no propensity for violence. On the contrary, he is gentle and warm, a creature of kindness. Summit is bold, and at times reckless, though with time and experience as he has aged, he has become more wary of strangers. Despite negative encounters, he remains friendly toward strangers, but more cautious than in his youth. It takes a great deal to make Summit truly angry. He is protective of his parents and siblings, and would do anything for them.

Dreams to dream .

Two young lovers received the surprise of a lifetime when the spring arrived. Their boy, born large and destined to be as big as his father, will arrive moments before his barely-younger sister. Summit was born very large for an infant, and his arrival nearly took the life of his young mother. With the fast thinking and kindness of healers Nephele and Willow, the new mother was brought back from the brink of demise.

The young family flourished, as both parents took swiftly to their new roles as parents. Summit has always been be particularly close to his mother, despite his rough beginnings, and was close to his sister Journey, who he regarded as his best friend. A third child joined the family, a dark girl named Fern, who was deemed a gift from the Fae. The family of five traveled together, protected from the outside world and the civil unrest that their parents shielded them from. Summit watched his parents marry, and his childhood was peaceful and idyllic.

The following spring, three more pups joined the Eithne clan, younger sisters Daisy, Piper, and Soraya. The family resided in the Fae Forest, where Summit doted over his new baby siblings. But tragedy struck one evening when during a game of hide-and-seek, little Daisy vanished. After months of looking desperately for the lost girl, the spread of war would force them from their home, to look for Daisy beyond the Fae Forest.
