Appearance
She appeared as a daughter of the moon, dressed in a pale silvery hue from snout to tail. Her fur seemed longer than that of an average wolf, and appeared wavy rather than smooth. Her expression was capable of inspiring fear and uncertainty, but only when it is deserved. Her eye is a gem of topaz, bright and aware, but missing its counterpart. One eye has been removed by the Royalist soldiers to mark her for execution. Blythe was cognizant of how to play her perceived weaknesses to her advantage, including her diminutive size and feminine form. Hers was not the body of a warrior, with narrower shoulders and average height, but she still found her place on the battlefield at the conclusion of the war. In her finals months, she appeared weary and distant, a mere shadow of her former, younger, beautiful self. Blythe's beautiful visage was scarred beyond recognition, and an eye removed from her skull for her role in the war.

Personality
- Fiercely independent. Blythe prides herself for caring for herself and her own, with no reliance upon others on the outside. Her liberty was hard won after being raised and groomed to be an obedient woman.

- Distant. Before all else, she was a loyal, affectionate mother. Her family was her world... Until she was thrown into Adamh's dungeons and sentenced to death. She has not seen her family since her escape, and has no intention of finding her sons.

- Resilient. In the face of prolonged trauma, Blythe has survived and learned to use adversity to her benefit. The doubts of others have given her further inspiration to continue living, a gift not given to all.

- Quick-minded. She is sly and manipulative, if that is what is required. She is a smart wolfess. A common phrase uttered by this femme is, "One does what one must." Survival of the fittest also means the cleverest.

- Secretive. Blythe is a creature with dark, untold stories that not even her closest confidantes know. She is committed to keep it this way, and must keep these secrets at bay in her own recollection, for the regret would be overwhelming if she lingered in the past.

- Jacobite. Once a follower of Queen of Aileen, she believes Adamh is a false king and is of no use to the people of the Highlands. She feels disdain and bitterness toward Royalists, and feels certain that Prince Jacob will one day return to Rionnach. Her family is dedicated to the Jacobite cause.

Blythe - "joyful - carefree"

Her parents were Highlands travelers who moved constantly, making life difficult, especially for any offspring produced by this unlikely coupling. Each year, children were born, and each year, those children would be lost to disease, hunger, accidents. Only the strong would survive, that was the nature of existence. The weak fall by the wayside. And by simply being born into this gender, Blythe was counted among the weak from the very first day.

Her father had been disappointed to create another daughter, as so few of his female nor male offspring had survived past their first year. One older sibling, Sable, had left the family unit earlier. Her mother was fearful of losing yet another pup, and Blythe would not receive her name until she was six months old, when her mother was assured of her survival. Blythe befriended the son of a local family with more prestige than her own, the Samaire clan's eldest child, Kiel. But their youthful love was not to be. Kiel was killed in battle, defending Queen Aileen and their homeland. The loss devastated Blythe. She would never recover from his death and the end of the happiness she had found with him.

Blythe was taught to obey, to do as she was told, to be an ideal bride and mother when she was old enough. Her mother had done her best to prepare Blythe for the inevitable. And for her father? Old enough came very soon. Blythe was given as a wife to a brute of a beast who expressed an interest in the silver-hued teenager. This was Argo, who was years older and a brutal man. Blythe and Argo were wed just before her second birthday, and children soon followed. She settled into a difficult and abusive existence.

Within weeks of being married, Blythe was expecting. Three pups were born of this union – two who looked unnervingly like their father, Ruby and Coal, and one who looked like a blending of his parents, Finch. She loved her children fiercely and protected them, even when it meant her own suffering at the jaws of her husband.

Wedded life proved to be a trap of mistreatment and cruelty. Never could she live up to Argo’s expectations, and he was quick to point out the ways in which her care was ruining his offspring. According to tradition, Ruby would meet a similar fate as her mother. To spare her daughter this future, Blythe rushed the child away from their home once she was weaned, leaving her in the fae forest to be discovered by another family, one that could hopefully prove better for the girl. She gave her husband some excuse for Ruby’s disappearance, but he was merciless and swift in his punishments. Abuse toward the boys, now four months old, intensified.

The day arrived when Blythe could no longer tolerate her husband's treatment toward their sons. Divorce was not allowed, and so she began to search for a solution, which came in the form of one hired assassin in the night. By morning, Blythe was a widow, a role she feigned with pretend sorrow as Argo was laid to rest. For the first time in her life, she was free. But no one had prepared for the young wolfess for a life of survival beyond relying upon one’s husband, and she had two tiny pups to raise.

Blythe was stronger than she knew, and more resourceful… even if those resources were procured from unwitting others. She learned ways of taking advantage of strangers and soon found herself a thief for the sake of survival. She would use her femininity to dupe males, or her perceived fragility to gain charity. She would teach her sons to use whatever advantage could be found. The family of three found success in their work.

They were not monsters and criminals. When they had surplus, they shared with neighbors and those in need. She abandoned the old names passed down from patriarchal lineages, instead choosing a family name untainted by the past:

Eleos - "mercy - compassion"

1710 Update:
Time passed, and the once-close Eleos family began to drift apart. Coal and Finch were old enough to live independently. Blythe had taught them all they needed to know to survive, and now, the wolfess found herself alone once more. Rumours about Prince Jacob's return had been shared across the Highlands for months. When the soon of Queen Aileen sought the support of the northern wolves, Blythe was among the many to heed his call. She was not a warrior by any means, but that would not stop Blythe from participating in numerous battles.

Blythe would find success on the battlefield, taking down numerous Imperial soldiers. Blythe was part of the Mainlands protest, taking down three wolves in the conflict. She earned fangs tearing her cheek, a death sentence, and a new nickname: Blythe the Mad. With the help of a stranger called Tiberius, she was able to escape her doomed fate - but for a price. She gave Tiberius the child he desired, a boy she had no interest in raising. As soon as he was weaned, he was given to his father. Blythe would never see the boy again.

The End:
The battles raged, and Blythe became a shadow of her former self. She lost an eye to the fools of the false king, and avoided all others, her offspring included, in what would be the final weeks of her life. She was felled during the final conflict of the war, succumbing to a lethal blow to the back of her neck. Her final word in this mortal life was the name of her first love: Kiel. How different her life might have been, had he never been lost.
